Toyful Music Festival

Toyful Music Festival seeks to bring "play" back to the centre of musical creation and enjoyment, aiming at playing around with the concept of "playing" music. In this unique three-day festival, composers, musicians and other sound artists from Cyprus and Europe join forces and create musical works and soundscapes, mixing classical musical instruments, children's and musical toys, everyday objects and environmental sounds, exploring the limits of their coexistence and the blending of sound colours.

The festival programme includes concerts, workshops, sound mapping activities, sound walks and an explosive closing with world premieres of composed works and music influenced by the sounds of the region. The festival will host artists experimenting with sounds, toys and places, proposing an alternative way for listening to and experiencing music.
